Mission Statement
The Vermont Music Teachers Association, founded in 1965, is an affiliate of Music Teachers National Association. The VMTA is a nonprofit educational organization representing music teachers in Vermont. The purpose of VMTA is to promote music education in Vermont and to encourage growth and professional development by providing opportunities that support teaching, performance, composition and research.
